Dr. Floyd entered the University of Maryland after successfully completing a 3 year pre-dental program at Tennessee Technology University. Upon graduating from dental school, he served 2 years in the Navy at NAS New Orleans after which he was an instructor and assistant professor at LSU Dental School. The doctor has maintained a family and cosmetic dental practice in Crownsville and surrounding communities for 30 years. Dr. Floyd has extended training in Oral Sedation, Invisalign, Cerec, and is currently attending classes for "Advanced Life Support".

Dr. Floyd and his wife, Elaine, have 3 sons; Michael, Gavin and Brendan. The doctors' interests include traveling to professional baseball games, tennis, golf, fishing, gourmet cooking, and reading. Dr. Floyd has been active in the past within the Green Hornets organization in soccer, basketball, and baseball. Both he and his wife enjoy serving in the hospitality program at church.

Office Coordinator

Bonnie has over 30 years of dental experience from assisting to practice management. In the past, she owned her own practice management company which has given her a wealth of knowledge to help patients with their administrative and clinical questions. Bonnie's goal is to serve our patients in a very professional and caring manner. She is looking forward to assisting our patients with scheduling and financial arrangements.

Bonnie has lived in Annapolis  for over 22 years and has one daughter, Ginny.  Bonnie enjoys time with her family and hobbies include sports, cooking, and wine tasting.

Dental Hygienist

Samantha ("Sam") is a graduate from the University of Maryland.  Prior to Hygiene School, Sam obtained a Bachelors Degree in General Science from Villa Juila College.  Along with being a full-time member of our office; Sam is currently working at the University Of Maryland Dental School as Dean's Faculty.  Her extended training includes: Drugs and Supplements affecting the Dental Practice, ViziLite and Invisalign.
Sam currently lives in Annapolis with her husband.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, exercising, adventure sports, as well as, spending time with her family.  Her favorite expression around the office is "I exercise to eat!!"

Dental Assistant

Lauren After graduating from Easton High School in Easton, Maryland, Lauren attended Chesapeake College and earned a certificate in dental assisting.  In the dental field for three years now, Lauren is a wonderful addition to our staff.  Her positive attitude and warm smile make her a pleasure to be around. 

She is a qualified dental assistant and is familiar with the latest dental technology including oral sedation, KÖR whitening, Cerec, Invisalign and other areas of general dentistry. 

In her free time away from the office, Lauren enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Justin.  Other activities include spending time with her family, kayaking, boating, going to the movies and taking her dog "MJ" on long walks in the park.
